22. února 2011 - Návštěva divadelního představení One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest v podání American Drama Group
Výňatky z recenzí studentů:
It is a play based on a novel about a guy, R. I. McMurphy, who pretends to be crazy in order to get out of prison to a mental hospital, where he thinks there are better life conditions. There he meets several patients and a head sister, and soon he finds out that the life in a mental hospital is not as ideal as he thought it would be. Nevertheless, he continues fighting the head nurse’s manipulation. At the end he dies.
The play did not fulfill my expectations. The actors were great; however, I could not help but compare the play with the movie, where Jack Nicholson stars.

The book is considered to be one of the best American books and to my mind, the play was fantastic, too. I was absolutely satisfied with the acting and in my opinion, the most admirable moment on the stage was the epileptic fit of one patient.
Although I imagined the hospital room a little bit differently, I really liked the set and the costumes. Furthermore, it was a pleasant surprise for me I could understand all the actors without problems.
